After Warehouse 13 was reconstituted, the Warehouse regents decided to recruit a new agent, to replace ATF, and Warehouse 13, Agent Steve Jinks, who had just died in the line of duty. Thing was, his just-recruited replacement, Lt. Devon McMasters, didn't really know what he was getting himself into.(This story is a fanfic of the Syfy TV show, "Warehouse 13")

So. Here I was. Alone in the library with my sexy, French-speaking ghost. I want to get out of there, but I wanted to find out what this was all about, too. I wanted to know. I NEEDED to know. Even if I have to ask the ghost. My name is Mark. And this is the continuation of my Halloween story.

I used to be a boy scout. Yeah, yeah, you can shut up now. The only reason I mention this is because of the ghost stories that we told around the campfire. No, we didn't roast weenies or marshmallows, but we DID tell stories. Stories about ghosts in the dark - scary-fun. But there's no fun if you actually SEE a ghost. I saw a ghost. A French-speaking ghost, mind you. Pretty classy for a ghost, huh? Wonder if I'll see her again tonight. Can you believe it? I have an appointment tonight. Well, at least she's pretty hot. My name is Mark. And this is the continuation of my Halloween story.

This story is just a quick-paced, humorous little tale full of superhero hijinks, where the guys from Lilith Langtree's "The Center" meet Danny. The events portrayed here are quite left of center, as in reeeally left of center, even for Danny. So, it makes you ask - did they all really happen? Were they stuff that Danny just dreamed up coz he ate too much of his mom's crunchy spaghetti again before going to bed, or maybe he was thrown into some weird parallel universe or something? Or maybe they really did happen? Good questions, all, but no one really knows the answer. heehee... Not even Danny. Still, it's a lot of fun. (Chapter 9 is a preview-chapter from the soon-to-be-posted Part 7 of my story, Danny, by the way.)

This little interlude is set somewhere in the middle of the events of Chapter 8 of my still-unfinished story, "Danny." This does not materially contribute to that story, but is more like "a day in the life" type of story of the main character, Danny. This story can stand on its own somewhat, but it would be good to read Danny, unfinished though it is, to get a background on the story and characters (see the story, "Danny" Parts 1 through 6 here in FM)

Ghosts in the library. A fairly common story for Halloween. Telling such stories, especially around a campfire at night, is fun. Heck, it's almost a tradition - a ghostly figure that you see from the corner of your eye as you work on your homework in the library, eerie sounds, unexplained movements like doors closing or chairs moving et cetera. Old hat. Hackneyed, even. Thing is, I was the one who saw them, experienced them. It might even have been okay if that was all, and if they just happen occasionally, and at night. But the thing was, the weird stuff started happening in the daytime as well, and during class. And it all started when my eyes changed color...My name is Mark. And this is my Halloween story.

Not that he had a choice about it, mind you. Gosh...

And now, it is coming close to that moment, when he has to choose the path his life would go - between being a girl or remaining a guy. Things are finally coming to a head for Dan & his gang.In Part Five, we see how Danny and the guys celebrate their triumph at the concert, how Morgan and Danielle open their hearts and reveal their true feelings about Danny, how Danny's boss discovers his secret, and how Danny takes care of his fans.
