Jack is sure that magic isn't real and is going to prove it to his sister who is a firm believer. Short story, quick read, pretty predictable but fun to write.

Jack buys an old bottle at Mike's Second Hand Store. Mike jokes that it looks like an old genie bottle. It is, and Bill is not happy with one of Jack's wishes... at first. Rated "R" for language, otherwise "G"

How would an old man react if he woke one morning in another body? A female body? A young and beautiful female body? What would his reactions be? What would the adjustment entail? This is my take on that scenario. The story contains some rather coarse, but I believe realistic language, given the main character's background and life experience. It's marked both fast and slow transformation because the physical is fast, the mental is slow.

How would you feel if your life were incomplete? What would it be like to exist in a world where you know others have reached their potential but you also know that you will most likely never be any more than you are at the moment? What would you do? Many catagories in this one but mainly Humor. At least that was the intent.

I heard a radio ad for allergy medicine and noticed the warnings and other legal stuff at the end and realized that it could kill your liver, destroy your kidneys, impair breathing, harm your heart, cause drowsiness, and a myriad of other nasty things far worse than a runny nose, sneezing and watering eyes. The cure could be worse than the disease! My warped mind went to work and I wrote this:

Genies that appear in a puff of smoke? Poorly worded wishes? Wishes twisted by a devious genie? Eh, not so much. Not when you run into the reluctant genie. Just a little holiday fluff that invaded my brain and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down. Now you all can deal with it.

This is the story of a young man inexorably drawn deeper and deeper into his own plot to avoid the draft until there is no way out but to live the life he claimed he wanted, but didn't… at first.

What would happen if the fiction you wrote became fact? Jerry finds out when he asks for a computer to write his stories on. His mother can't afford one so she gives him his Great Uncle's old Oliver #3 Visible Writer and Jerry finds out what it means when your writing becomes visible.

Strange things can happen in the emergency room at midnight on New Year's Eve as Sam and his wife found out. A happy New Year.
