With Deirdre, trouble seems to follow her like a lost puppy you make the mistake of feeding. That hasn't changed in this chapter. If you haven't read all the story, I would recommend starting at the first chapter so you can understand everything that is happening.

Deirdre's misadventures continue. Will things ever settle down for the one time boy?

Walt should never have answered his door that night. Things would never be the same for him, and others, again. A little Halloween offering from me.

Time for a change of scene for Deirdre and a nice comfortable ocean voyage to get things started. Or is it?

Things are getting more than a little dicey for Deirdre. Not only has she completed her transformation into a real girl, some major plots unfold while some old players take on a new significance. Oh, then there's the murder attempt, too.

Poor Derek/Deirdre just keeps getting in deeper and deeper here. And what is thing about a PROPHECY, anyway!

Why he agreed to this, he didn't know. But Derek, now known as Deirdre and looking the part, has his first appearance in public to handle.

Things just seem to go from bad to worse for poor Derek. He'd attended the tournament to forget his troubles for a while. Unfortunately, his problems only multiply as a winning knight chooses him for a companion to the Grand Ball.

It hadn't been a good week at all for poor Derek. First, he hadn't been chosen by anyone at all during the apprentice choosings. Second, he did end up apprenticed in spite of that - to a dressmaker. Third... Well he'd prefer not to think about that one.
