She finally goes in for her boob job.Novel length stories are a trial to write. If I let this one go as I presently imagine it, there are another 10 or 15 chapters involved. Readership drops off dramatically the longer a story goes - down to 700 readers for chapter 8. I can reach so many more people with a one chapter story. I struggle to find the motivation to keep this going. I'm not giving up on it, but I might slow down the release rate.

Michael, called M by his girlfriend Kelly, participates in an experimental drug program to earn some cash. The results surprise all concerned, and Kelly gathers some friends to form the Emma Project to help Michael deal with the consequences. There is a minor cross over connection to an earlier story, The Pleasure Trap.

Lacy spends four days at Mistress Reynolds' home training. She and Alicia continue their uncertain relationship. Reynolds meddles and Alicia returns from her visit to Carroll's that was featured in the last chapter. Complications complicate. It's all sighs and fainting couches around there.

There are dark moments and dark scenes in this chapter, a departure from the usual tone the story thus far has presented. Julie reports to Carroll's home for corrective training. She is kept in a cell and forced to learn all kinds of humiliating sexual practices. The greatest indignity results from her refusal to be trained to engage in an activity she finds particularly offensive. Alicia manages to make a visit to check on her. Julie finally decides to follow her heart. What will her God say about that?

A bittersweet (short) story told primarily in a flashback about a young girl who's stuck in the pageant scene and wants out. It takes a chance encounter with Tiffany to resolve her problem. I read my stories several times before posting just to eliminate as many as I can. But every writer knows that all word processing programs insert three random typos every time a document is saved, so it's a no-win situation, like Sisyphus and his rock. Wow, that name suggests a story, doesn't it?

This is the final chapter in the saga of Shawna and Natasha. Their story began with four chapters of The Wedding Party and ends here with the fifth Chapter of The Girlfriend. The chapter title, Closure, says it all - ties up some loose ends and brings story lines to an end. We'll see an unexpected marriage, Rachel taking matters in hand, reconciliation, and a beach party with consequences. Thanks to all the readers who left comments.
