It has been a while since I posted a story. Having finally got my mojo back, here is a new instalment about the occasional adventures of Alex Carmichael and his Alta-ego 'Emily'. (I can't believe I first started this series back in 2021!)In this story Alex's wife Rachel starts to understand why it is that her husband has this deep-seated need to present as a woman from time to time. You don't have to have read all the earlier stories in order to enjoy this one - (although, of course, I hope you will). I have included a short back-story summary at the beginning, so that references within the main story make sense.

A new story featuring characters I have written about before. However, this story can be read as a stand-alone. Alex, a regular cross-dresser, has another opportunity to perform in public. How can he refuse!

An out of work actor signs up to be apprentice to a film maker. Unexpectedly he finds himself having to stand-in for a tranvestite model in what turns out to be a porn film. He is NOT happy!

A third 'Revolving Doors' story. This one is different from the first two in that it mostly told through images and doesn't involve characters familiar from other sources. The underlying message is: don't mix up the names of different stores!

This is the second of my 'revolving doors' stories. This one may remind you of a book from your childhood.

Having run into a 'writer's block' with some long-form pieces, I am turning to a series of shorter ones, all based around different 'revolving doors'.This first one features characters familiar from television series.

Adriana attends her first party as a woman and learns a lot about the local trans scene.

Adrian begins to recognise that cross-dressing is going to be a major feature of his life for the foreseeable future. (S)he experiences becoming a 'lady who lunches' and is introduced to another mature and stylish lady. Interesting prospects emerge.(Whilst I endeavour to make each of my stories capable of being read as 'stand-alones', it might be helpful to read the previous chapters as well.)

Our reluctant cross-dresser is outwitted by his determined lover. (S)he experiences the highs and lows of shopping for shape wear and a visit to a beauty salon.

How a simple accident led me down a strange path

Sometimes a film can have an amazing effect on a relationship.

I started writing this saga in 2014. At long last it comes to it's final 'Phase'. For those who have stuck with me; 'Thanks'. For newcomers; I have included a brief synopsis that should enable you to read the story as 'stand-alone. (Although, obviously, I would prefer it if you read the whole sequence!)Basically, this is a story of a young man who, over a three year period, comes to understand the feminine side of his/her personality.

After living as a woman 24/7 for six months, Tessa finally makes an appointment to see a Gender Consultant. The conversations she has with her doctor eventually force Tessa to consider who she truly is, and to take some momentous decisions.

After a long delay I have finally completed another 'Phase' of this story.Adriana invites Tessa to join her and her family for a proper 'New England Thanksgiving'. There are shocks and surprises in store as Tessa takes another step in her journey towards womanhood.

Jerry receives some disturbing news which results in him having to take difficult decisions. How will 'Geraldine' be accepted in the wider community?

Geraldine and Joanne feel a need to take their cross-dressing out of the home. In this they have the support of their wives, but care needs to be taken if they are to avoid the risk of accidentally being 'outed'.

Although part of my 'Date' series, this chapter doesn't actually feature a date. Rather it is a necessary transition the main character has to go through before she can move forward.

A text message from a friend results in a fun night out at the theatre.

Tessa starts to enjoy living in New York - even if some of her experiences aren't necessarily what she anticipated.I must thank Patricia Allen for once again helping me with the Americanisation of dialogue.

At a cross-dressed costume party, I had overdone the realism of my transformation and, as a result, became the object of a lot of teasing by my fiends. One of them challenged me to a round of golf whilst wear a skirt.

My wife having discovered that I cross-dress, much to my surprise she proves supportive and even offers to help me build my own wardrobe of female clothes.

Richard Strauss wrote an opera in which the main male character spends half his time cross-dressed as a girl. (The fact that this role wass written for a female voice simply confuses things even further; so we won't go there!) As an experiment, I have tried to write a modern-day trans story using the same basic plot elements. I hope you like it - and I would appreciate feedback.

In September 2014 I posted a story 'Dressing - Phase 1 - A Holiday in Venice'. It was always my intention to continue this story after our heroes returned to the UK. However, it has taken me until now to get back to the series! This is the first of three new episodes that will be posted over the next few days. Readers unfamiliar with the original 'Phase 1' should read this first as what happens next stems inexorable from the events of that momentous holiday.

This is the third in my 'occasional series' about the fashion industry in London. 'Tres Fashionable' is an occasional series of linked stories set in the fashion industry. Each can be read on its own, but some characters will appear in more than one story. This particular example spends more time on clothing than plot, but, hey, what can you expect from a story about the 'rag trade'!!!

Alastair thought he had seen the end of his cross-dressing. His feminine finery had been put into storage, so that was that. But was it? When you neighbours continue to play with dresses and wigs, and your Head of Department starts to review your 'gender swap' experiment, anything could happen - and probably will!

As the ripples arising from the 'Cross-dressing Gala' spread, Alastair's next door neighbour, Jerry, has to face up to, and challenge, some demons from his past.

Another 'ripple' as the fallout from the cross-dressed production of 'Twelfth Night' spreads more widely.(Note: There is a discrepancy between the clothing worn on the final day of the project in this episode as compared with that described in Part 2. But why let continuity get in the way of a better idea!)

You know how when you throw a stone into a pond, ripples spread out from the centre? Well something similar happened after Alistair and Audrey Marlowe cross-dressed to attend a Gala Performance at the theatre. Other people around them also got swept up in the changes that followed. This is one such 'ripple' and tells what happened to Christopher, one of the students in Mr. Marlowe's tutor group.(This story is complete in itself, but you really need to read the earlier two parts to set the scene and understand the context. Who knows, there may be other 'ripples' to follow!)

As if having attended a Theatre Gala Performance wearing a dress wasn't enough, circumstances conspire to ensure that our hero(ine) hasn't finished with female clothing just yet!

Who could ever have imagined that a simple decision to attend a Fund Raising Gala performance of a play put on by a University Drama Department would have such far-reaching consequences!
